It has been a roller coaster March thus far with the recent financial and crypto instability, but ARC continues to build Asia’s predominant Web3 collective through these uncertain times.

This month, we are putting the Vision Statement (launched in February 2023) into action. To begin with, Elroy and Gabriel have embarked on their 2023 Asia/World Tour to Hong Kong (#ARCinHK), Seoul (#ARCinSeoul) and LA (#ARCinLA), meeting builders, creators and members of the ARC Stellars community!

This is only the tip of the iceberg as we are about to roll out more exciting IRL and digital experiences in the next few months to achieve the immediate goals we have set out in our Vision Statement.

Goal 1: Build a strong community foundation & connecting like-minded individuals

Our first and foremost priority is to grow the number of Stellars and expand the geographic footprint for our members' acquisition outside of Singapore.

Elroy and Gabriel are currently on their tour in Los Angeles and will be in Tokyo for ETHGlobal Tokyo around mid-April. If you’re able to meet them in these different cities, give the team a holler on the app and they will add you to the group chat for more deets, or check out the Group Chats wall!

Goal 2: Facilitate the creation of expertise and interest-based subgroups

Next, at ARC, we aim to empower the community in contributing their skillsets together with like-minded individuals. We have since established a strong foundation around sub-groups, each with its own leaders and defined short-term objectives. This has allowed for the initiation of project ideation and proposals across the different sub-groups that work both independently and in collaboration to achieve our goal of collective value creation.

This month, we also hosted Garlam on our weekly Crypto ARCade audio rooms. Garlam, a managing partner of the Web3 fund Momentum6, came on to share more about the trends that he has been seeing in the crypto space and dropped some alpha for the ARC Community!

Updates on Pyxis Programme

We recently announced changes to our membership process to improve the experience of the community members. The changes come as a response to feedback from both Pyxis holders and Stellars who expressed concerns about the conflicting brand and experience expectations between the two groups.

To bring you up to speed, Pyxis was launched as a soulbound token for ARC's curation and verification process to ensure that the platform brought in members who shared its purpose and values. The importance of curation in our community has not and will not change.

However, the technology behind Pyxis could be useful for other projects too, as Pyxis is a symbol of a holder's status of curation. Essentially, we may be missing out on opportunities for it to be used more widely as a curation and identification token on the blockchain.

What Does This Mean?

As a result, Pyxis will evolve into a new token with a fresh look and purpose. The new token will remain a soulbound and curation token, but holders will not automatically enjoy any benefits and will not be registered as part of the community just by holding it. The transition to the new token will be a breeze, and existing Pyxis holders will naturally become holders of the new token, with no action required from them.

ARC believes that this approach will enable the new token to flourish and thrive as an identification token in the Web3 space. In the future, it could be a dynamic token that refreshes its metadata when users participate in events, projects, or activities in Web3 outside of ARC! It could also be an identifier for communities and brands to reach out with perks and whitelists….the possibilities are endless!

ARC acknowledges the contributions of our Pyxis holders and Stellars and will continue to recognise them through our Campgrounds Programme, which helps passionate participants who lack financial resources to become a Stellar! We also intend to find ways to track and reward the contributions of community members actively.

ARC has plenty of opportunities for our community members to get involved and make a difference, and we'll make sure you're recognised and rewarded accordingly.

On February 22nd, the Stories Rediscovered series showcased ARC's Honorary Member, @VERBAL_AMBUSH. He is renowned for his successful collaborations in the music and fashion industry that have left an indelible mark.

VERBAL co-founded the Teriyaki Boys, whose hit single "Tokyo Drift '' became a global phenomenon. His fashion brand, @ambushdesign, is famous for pushing the limits of wearable fashion, cementing his status as a true creative visionary.

During our conversation, VERBAL shared his candid thoughts with Stellars. He delved deep into his views on Metaverses and which of them he believes would thrive in the future. The discussion also covered how he approaches his brand building and what factors he considers when deciding which brands to collaborate with.

VERBAL was forthcoming in sharing his perspective on the trajectory of Metaverses, and his bullish outlook on the technology was evident. Project Analysis with Jujubz

Hello, ARC! My name is Jujubz, and I'm excited to introduce a new column focused on NFT project analysis.

I have been active in the Web3 space since 2021 and I am naturally analytical. I analyse NFT projects to search for the best value, and I'm excited to share my insights with all of you through this new column.

In each instalment, I'll analyse a different NFT project and share my findings from a neutral standpoint.

These analyses will help you better understand the metrics behind NFT projects and allow you to apply them to other collections to make informed decisions before investing.

OliveX Genesis

Background

OliveX Genesis is an NFT collection that acts as a membership token into the world of OliveX. OliveX Holdings Limited, founded by CEO Keith Rumjahn in 2017, is the main company behind OliveX Genesis collection.

OliveX is a fitness and health company that uses AI, gamification, and premium content to create innovative products that offer unique user experiences. They have developed a fitness metaverse that employs blockchain and NFTs to gamify fitness activities, making them more engaging and rewarding.

The company is publicly traded on the Australian Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NSW: OLX. One of OliveX's core products, Dustland Runner, uses NFTs to offer unique user experiences through fitness gamification, augmented reality, and play-to-earn experiences.

Past Projects:

OliveX has already developed several fitness and wellness games, including Dustland Runner, Dustland Rider, Binary meditation, DEFY location-based game, and We Fight Monster A.I. human pose game.

The project also plans to bring in more IP collaborations into the ecosystem, such as the Bored Ape Yacht Club Buster token-gated story.

Team:

The OliveX Genesis collection is led by a team of advisors:

$DOSE Token

$DOSE token is the heart of the OliveX gamified fitness ecosystem. It is an ERC-20 standard token on the Ethereum blockchain with a layer 2 solution on the Polygon network.

$DOSE is used for purchases, utility, and action. Players receive DOSE tokens for completing workout-based gameplay in Dustland Runner, Dustland Rider, 22 Pushups, KARA Smart Fitness, and other move-to-earn experiences. These tokens can be used to unlock items, purchase NFTs, participate in special game modes, and improve their physical shape while earning real-life revenue through gaming activity.

The total supply of DOSE is set at 5 billion tokens, and it is meant to be used as a cross-title utility inside the OliveX ecosystem and is a crucial part of the platform's rewards model.

Utility

OliveX Genesis is a project that offers a range of benefits to its holders. These benefits can be summarised in five core pillars:

  1. Join the Titans:
    OliveX Genesis is supported by the Titan Advisor network, which offers consulting services to holders about their projects. Additionally, holders gain access to alpha, information, and an extensive network of exclusive collaboration opportunities.

    The OliveX network also provides holders with access to regular and topical fireside chats with Web3 industry leaders, as well as fitness brands and related experts such as ASICS and Puma. Additionally, holders can connect with Web3 founders and innovators like Co-Founder & Executive Chairman Yat Siu.
  2. Be Part of the Network:
    The OliveX family is made up of a close-knit group of partners in different industries. This network provides many unique opportunities for collaboration, and holders can expect to receive generous airdrops and whitelist opportunities from this extended network.
  3. Bonus Utilities:
    Holders will receive a range of bonuses, such as airdrops and whitelist opportunities, from the extended network.

    Within the first two weeks, OliveX Genesis has already rolled out the website for the first phase of staking and has run 18 whitelist giveaways on projects outside of Mocaverse, Project BRX, and YogaPetz (Resortlist).

Artwork

The art for the OliveX Genesis NFT project was revealed on March 17th. Designed by the artist behind many blue chip NFT projects, the project features nine different rarity types of art, including Hades, Zeus, Ares, Atlas, Pegasus, Medusa, Hermes, Minotaur, and Poseidon. Each rarity type will have meaningful differences and rewards.

Post Mint Analytics

From the collection size of 420 NFTs, the floor currently sits at 3.92E with the overall sales volume totaling ~628 E. The project has a market cap of 1.72k E.

  • During the minting stage, the unique minters' count was healthy with 317 minters (about 88%).
  • Looking into the listing data, only 2.6% of the collection is listed. That accounts for just 11 NFTs and out of that, 4 of them are listed within 15% of the floor price.
  • There are a total of 57 Blue Chip Holders and 2 Whale wallets in this collection. The Blue Chip Holders are mostly Moonbirds holders (15) followed by Azuki, MAYC & CyberKongz.
  • The holder distribution is healthy with ~84% of the wallets only holding 1 NFT followed by ~14% holding up to 3 NFTs.
  • The “Period Before 1st Sale” chart indicates diamond hands are in this project with 79% of the collection never being sold while 8.6% of it was sold within the first 24 hrs.
