Jun’s remarkable story features his personal struggles, burning himself out in Cornell University and eventually dropping out. He eventually moved back to Korea in 2017 where his financial struggles continued.

“I was living off expired canned food from salvage stores… and the store wasn’t near us so I had to hitch a ride from my roommates… that was the only way I was able to survive really. I was eating the same stuff for like 6 months”

His journey since is nothing short of inspirational…

What brought Jun into crypto?

He stumbled upon ARC simply because he read somewhere about a “Web3 Professional Community” and since his crypto career was built upon communities, he decided to apply for our Beta test.

Funny enough, he did not even know who our founders were at that time - a true leap of faith!

While he joined out of curiosity, it was the community that made him stay:

“It felt like a rare community where it felt like everyone was genuine. I think that was the biggest differentiator for me… people were just open to sharing their insights and were very friendly and welcoming as well.”

Through ARC, Jun has gotten to meet new people that he would not have gotten the chance to connect with previously. And that has also given him a lot of fresh exposure to people, places and insights that he was never able to experience before.

To him, ARC is the embodiment of what a community is all about - everyone wanting to see each other succeed and win together.

Jun’s best memory of ARC was the #IntoTheARC party in 2022, in Singapore where he got to meet most of the ARC members for the first time… and of course, hotpot. Through that, it solidified his views on ARC - a truly genuine community of diverse talents and skill sets.
